My name is Hannah and I own Cook Stars Wirral South East – covering the east side of the
Wirral from Eastham up to Birkenhead.

Before joining Cook Stars, I was an Economic Crime Operations Manager but after a 13 year
career in banking, I have chosen to move on to something that is much closer to my heart –
sharing my love of food and passion for cooking with others!

My fiancé & I have a little boy who is already a big foodie, like myself, and often helps me to
cook a family dinner or bake a sweet treat! I am in awe watching him learn how to mix and
create food in the kitchen at such a young age! I am fascinated by food & nutrition and truly
believe that understanding the basics of food and cooking is such a valuable life skill so, to be
able to share my knowledge and passion for cooking with children makes me incredibly
happy.

I come from an ‘allergy family’ and follow a gluten-free diet myself, for medical reasons.
While making a big change to diet and lifestyle is a challenge, I have found that it has been
an opportunity to learn more about food, discover alternatives and be a bit more creative with
dishes! I am confident with being able to avoid allergens in foods for safety and use
alternative ingredients to replicate taste and texture. I have had the opportunity to share my
knowledge with others and help them find an easier way in to making allergen changes in
their diet which has been really rewarding.
When I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll typically find me out on a toddler adventure with the
family! We love going on long walks, exploring, discovering new places and are avid
travellers. I love learning about other cultures and immersing myself in different food scenes
from around the world. We have been known to wake up and jump on a plane the same day
for a spontaneous adventure! I am happy by the sea so will always be on the hunt for a good
beach or cove to watch the waves, or dive in!
