I’m Siobhan, a primary school teacher of 30 years with a passion for helping children discover the joy of cooking. My two grown‑up daughters share that love, one is the savoury expert, the other our resident cake baker!

Cooking has been part of my life since childhood. One of my earliest memories is making a raspberry smoothie with my dad at age four, which ended in a j‑cloth mishap and a smoothie covered kitchen. That joy (and chaos) has stayed with me ever since. I find cooking deeply relaxing, whether I’m batch‑cooking for busy weeks or preparing a meal for friends and family. Italian and Tex‑Mex dishes are my favourites, and my freezer is never without chilli or spaghetti bolognese.

I share my home with my husband, Stephen, and Gus, our cuddly Australian Labradoodle who looks like a teddy bear and loves slow walks, his happiest places are my bed and the beaches of Cornwall.

Outside the kitchen, I enjoy watercolour painting, crochet and card‑making, but travel is my biggest passion. A Route 66 road trip in 2022 was a highlight, and Japan is next on my wish list.
