Hello and welcome! I’m Laura, the proud new owner of Cook Stars Leeds North West, where my aim is to make cooking fun, exciting, and educational for children of all ages. As a passionate advocate for creativity, healthy eating, and life skills development, I’m so excited to bring this fantastic cooking venture to our community in Leeds North West.

Cooking has always been a big part of my life. From a young age, I was drawn to the kitchen, experimenting with baking and learning the value of homemade meals, made with love. I remember baking sticky treacle tart with my Nan, to her own special recipe – and licking the spoon clean afterwards, obviously! Over the years, my love for food has grown into a deeper appreciation for how cooking can teach valuable lessons like patience, creativity, and problem-solving. Before becoming a franchisee, I worked as a Librarian for 20+ years (I love reading and curling up with a good book!) but cooking and food has always been close to my heart. Having my own two boys sparked my desire to inspire children through cooking, and I'm so happy to be making that dream come true, through Cook Stars!

Having kids of my own, I understand the importance of teaching children not just how to cook, but how to enjoy the process and appreciate the value of nutritious, homemade meals. That’s why I’m so excited to offer this unique opportunity for youngsters to explore, create, and build their confidence in the kitchen.

Through our hands-on cooking classes, workshops and parties, kids will not only learn how to prepare delicious meals but also gain confidence, develop teamwork skills, and discover the joys of healthy eating. We’re committed to providing a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment where every child can explore their culinary curiosity while having a blast in the kitchen.

I’m so excited to be a part of the Cook Stars family and look forward to helping young chefs develop skills that will last a lifetime. Whether your child is a complete beginner or already has a passion for cooking, the classes offer something for everyone.
