Cook Stars Franchise

Hello, I'm Jack and I am excited to be running Cook Stars Stockport Central.

I am a Dad of three children, Finley aged 11, Thomas aged 7 and Teddy aged 2, I am also married to my lovely wife April since November 2021.

I have a degree in Food and nutrition science and for the last 9 years I have been a food/cookery teacher. I had taught 4 years in Further education colleges and 5 years in secondary schools in Eccles and Moss Side.

Most recently I also had the role of Assistant SENCo. My teacher training was also in SEND and I am currently studying a part time masters degree in SEND meaning. I loved working within SEND and feel I am well trained and have lots of knowledge to support those with SEND needs.

My hobbies include cooking, I love trying new recipes and ideas out at home. I love getting the children involved and my middle child Thomas loves to help and cook too. My favourite type of dishes to cook are Chinese dishes such as sweet and sour chicken or homemade prawn toast and spring rolls. I also love cooking Spanish dishes like tapas and paella.

I am a huge Manchester City fan. I began watching City at the age of 4 in 1998, and have had a season ticket since 2003 and attended almost every home game as well as every single Wembley trip. I go to the football with my dad, father in law and my sons Finley and Thomas take it in turns to go to the matches.
