Cook Stars classes start from Farnham to Haslemere

I live with my husband, who’s a keen cook, and our two young boys. As a family, we love spending time outdoors gardening or exploring woodland walks, and at home, you’ll often find us having an impromptu singalong or dance party in the kitchen.
Some of my earliest and fondest memories involve food—particularly cooking evening meals with my parents. It was always a team effort, and even as a little one I had my role. That joy of being involved in making something together stayed with me and has become such a big part of who I am.
Before joining Cook Stars, I worked as a Norland nanny and have a degree in Early Childhood Studies. My childcare career has taken me around the world, working with a range of families and age groups.
I’m passionate about helping children understand where their food comes from, and giving them the opportunity to prepare it themselves. Cooking is such a valuable experience for them—building confidence, independence, and a positive relationship with food.
Cook Stars brings together two of my greatest loves: working with children and cooking, and I’m so excited to be part of it. And seeing their pride in what they make is always priceless.
Outside of work, I’m a huge foodie and love trying new dishes—especially from markets like Borough and Camden in London. I also enjoy playing piano, listening to music, and performing with local amateur dramatics groups. In the kitchen I love baking most of all and experimenting with new flavours and techniques is my creative outlet. That said, lasagne is one of my all-time favourites to eat!
