Cook Stars classes from Cheltenham South to Bishops Cleeve
posted 26th March 2026
I have been married for four years to Marcus, we met in the hospitality industry and worked together for 6 years. We welcomed our little girl Ayla in March 2025.
My earliest cooking memory was cooking with my dad in his pub, starting out peeling potatoes for the Sunday roast and then him training me to work with him during service. I was drawn to working with cook stars because I have a huge passion for working with kids and food. I completed my Sports education Degree in 2015 and I had a decision to make whether to choose working in the food industry or working with kids. I have spent the last 10 years running cafes/restaurants but when the opportunity came up with cook stars to combine my two passions I knew I had found my dream job!
It’s hard to say what I enjoy outside of cooking as if I have spare time I love to cook/bake. However any spare time is put into my family and time with my little one. We love long walks together or doing activities like taking her swimming.
I love to bake. I’m often baking cakes for friends and family events. I slowly make it more complicated so I can keep improving my range of skills! However my favourite savoury thing to cook is curry and all the trimmings: bhajis & naans.
