Hi I’m Karen and I am the proud owner of Cook Stars Wolverhampton NE.

From an early age I embraced good food, the love of cooking and baking which was passed down to me from my nan who was an amazing cook. This encouragement led me to working as a chef for over 25 years, working in hotels and restaurants both in England and abroad. Working in kitchens far and wide I have cooked many culinary delights using fresh ingredients.

For the last 4 years I have been working in an Outdoor Education Centre feeding children and teenagers in a residential setting. I have also worked in Primary schools including a SEN School. Working in these settings highlighted the importance of transferring life skills and eating healthy and nutritious food.

When I am not cooking I enjoy traveling and city breaks recently ticking off the top of my bucket list with a trip to New York! I enjoy dining out, going to the theatre and concerts.

I now have the opportunity with Cook Stars to share my passion for food and cooking with children. I can’t wait to cook great recipes whilst having fun.
