Chester welcomes Cook Stars classes with Francesca!

I'm Francesca, qualified teacher, lifelong foodie, Yorkshire lass, and proud owner of Cook Stars Chester!
I’ve loved cooking since I was very little, partly inspired by my wonderful Nana who always welcomed me into the kitchen, and of course always let me lick the spoon! Those early memories shaped my belief in the magic that happens when children are encouraged to explore, experiment, and get hands on with food.
I found the same spark in the out of school clubs I attended, which gave me opportunities to thrive beyond the classroom. The sessions I loved most were the ones where we could roll up our sleeves and get stuck into cooking. That’s exactly what I aim to offer through Cook Stars Chester: small, inclusive classes where children build skills, creativity, and are encouraged in a healthy relationship with food.
With my teaching background, I bring the very best of classroom practice into every session, nurturing independence and resilience, adapting activities to different learning needs, and celebrating every small success. I love creating sessions that are both educational and exciting, so children leave with something delicious they’ve made and new confidence to go with it.
Cooking brings people from all walks of life together, providing connection and a sense of belonging, which is why Cook Stars Chester is more than a class, it’s a community. Children have fun, make friends, explore different cultures through food, feel proud of what they create, all whilst enjoying a warm, supportive space
For parents and carers, there’s a bonus, you don’t need to buy a truck load of ingredients or face a mountain of washing up afterwards! I provide everything the children need and take care of all the mess, so you can simply enjoy seeing what they’ve created.
